Hollywood, Florida gets an economic shot in the arm. Construction begins on The Diplomat Resort and Country Club. This enterprize consists of not only a huge beach front twin tower four-star resort hotel, but also provides guests a Joe Lee golf course and multi slip marina. The hotel also provides banquet facilities for the largest assemblies. The structure will span over A1A comprising both hotel/beach facilities and inter-coastal retail and marina facilities.
Merz-Huber Co , operating as the insurance consultant is currently providing insurance for one of the largest private construction jobs in the US today. This project is funded and is being built by the United Association of Plumbers and Pipefitters of the US and Canada.
This exceptionally unique project, once completed, brings to the city of Hollywood, Florida an economic base riviling that of even Nevadas famed Las Vegas for family fun in the sun.
